Transportation & Distribution
One of our key service areas is our transportation and distribution network. Over the past several years, we have developed key competencies in the transportation of goods throughout the East and Central African region. In so doing, we have created a valuable resource base of information that enables us to efficiently and cost effectively distribute goods within the region.
We have undertaken various different types of transportation, including airfreight, seafreight, road overland transport, rail transport all depending on the terrain to be covered, financial capabilities, urgency, perishability, and delivery deadlines.
For example, we have been able to transport a wide variety of goods from areas such varied locations in the Tanzania countryside to the port of Dar Es Salaam, and onwards to our Customer markets in the Far East. We have transported Timber from the DRC, coffee from Uganda, relief food into Sudan, perishable medical supplies into Somalia, construction equiment into Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Sudan amongst many other shipments.
In addition, we have been able to advise our customers and arrange transportation for out of gauge cargo and oversized items, both into and out of the region.
